Mjonøy - Gamlestoga

Cabin in Vinje - Telemark, approx. 13 km from the village Åmot. On the farm there are totally 13 old and unique log cabins for rent, of which some are of high standards, tastefully decorated and with good and spacious beds. The river Klevastøylåi runs by and the whole place fills you with a sense of past times. Each morning during summer, the delightful smell of fresh pastry spreads from the farm bakery. Dinner can also be served on spot and you can see the art exhibition, shop in the handicraft shop or the farmyard food store. Nearby you can see the homes of famous Norwegian authors Aasmund Olavsson Vinje (3 km) and Tarjei Vesaas (5 km). Gamlestoga Mjonøy consists of: a bathroom with shower and toilet. Sauna. Further a fully equipped kitchen, living room with fireplace, antique furniture, TV and a large double bed (160 cm broad). A bedroom has a bunk bed (2). Extra bed can be made available.
