Soria Moria Fjellgrend is located approx. 1020 metres above sea level, by the mountain area of "Gaustatoppen" and in the heart of Telemark. Nearest village is Rjukan, 15 km. This group of log cabins are built in old traditional Norwegian style with turfed roof, and by the use of solid traditional craftsmanship from Telemark. It has been given emphasise in recreating old ornaments and details to obtain the genuine old environment. The idea is to offer a soulful accommodation alternative. Guests here will feel the adventure of the old intimacy and yet enjoy modern high comfort. This cabin is 1 of totally 8 units in 4 vertically divided cabins. Here is a living room with dining table and an open kitchen. Bathroom with shower and toilet. Sauna. 3 bedrooms for 8 persons of which one room with a double bed, one with a double bed and bunk bed (2,2), and one room with a bunk bed. One of the units can accommodate 9 persons.
